¥±. The Effect of Gollin on Blood Alcohol Concentration in Rabbits

Abstract
Aconite and sufur has long been used in presentation and treatment of hang over syndrome and alcoholic intoxication in oriental medicine.
In this study, the authors studied the effect of aconite compound, Collin on the alcohol concentration in blood. Motive rabbits of both sex, weight 2. 0 kg or so were used. 2 tablets of Gollin were given orally to the experimental group 20 minutes prior to administration by mouth of 99% ethanol in dose of 60 cc/kg of body weight, specimens were obtained by venous puncture at 20 min. and 40 min. respectively after ethanol administration.
The results showed that blood alcohol level in experimental group is lower than that of control group. Possible mechanism for lowering alcohol level in blood was discussed.
Gollin seemed to be effective in lowering alcohol level in blood.
The alive results suggest that Gollin is effective on alcohol intoxication and hang over syndrome.
